So much gratitude for 2017

As 2017 comes to a close, may I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who has crossed my path this year. Each of you has taught me something valuable and contributed to where I am today, for that I'm truly humbled and grateful.

It has has been a year of deep and meaningful learning - all learning is meaningful of course, but this is even more so beyond my expectations and very poignant to certain extent. Through many experiences, challenges and opportunities, highs and lows, plain and rough sailings, happiness and sadness, failures and accomplishments, movements and stillness, rejection and acceptance, losses and gains, such is life and I have cherished and embraced every single of of them because that's how I grow and will continue to grow.

Setting up and launching my coaching business was one of the greatest accomplishment this year. It's been quite an emotional roller coaster that gives butterflies in my belly and lights up the fire in my soul. Not getting the job and the course which I thought I wanted was a wonderful stroke of luck because neither of them was right for me. Losing friends and friendships that naturally and abruptly fizzled out for whatever reasons taught me lessons that some people were only meant in your life for a reason or season. It was far outweighed by the new friendships I gained. I am truly and eternally grateful to the beautiful souls who always believe in me, support me, and inspire me. I have learned to let go of self-judgement which included not being good enough or worthy enough because I know I am enough for me and the people who are by my side. I have also learned that feeling good enough and worthy also means that when I receive something of value, I am allowed to feel that I deserve to receive it and it's OK to cherish and celebrate my deservingness with immense gratitude. Being the Winner of the Month in the photo competition in the February edition of Psychologies added my highlight of 2017 (see the photo below)!

Not a day goes by that I don't feel so grateful and blessed for another day whatever it gives and brings, another day to serve my purpose in this planet, another day to see the sun rises and sets, to witness the beauty of the moon and the brightness of the stars, to hear my soul whispers, to breathe fresh air into my precious lungs, to feel my heart beats tens of thousands times, to stand tall and walk on this earth on my feet and to create meaningful existence with my hands, to be fully present and engaging in the chosen moments and feel the feelings. I feel so lucky.

My heart is so big that I have a lot of love to give. I used to forget that I needed to give myself a piece of that love too. When I started to realise and change to give myself that piece of love first, my whole world changed because I have been able to give more freely and extensively. How does this seem possible?

You can't pour from an empty cup.

As we embark on a new year, what kind of things do you need to let go of? What kind of things or people make you unhappy? What have you learned from these experiences? What can and will you do for yourself to make your life happier, richer and more fulfilling? Where will your journey take you? Will you start the new year with being kinder and more loving to yourself first?

Self-love is so fundamental to everything that we think, do and feel. There are some practical elements to start on your own self-love journey, one of which I can share with you. That is by starting to write a daily journal and/or gratitude list; writing a journal was one of the first things I started to do in my transformational journey to self-love. You can get one by clicking here.

My intention in 2018 is to be powerful but not in a hard way. My interpretation for powerful is about using my feminine soft powers to inspire and help others to feel powerful themselves to take the inspired actions to achieve their desired dreams and goals. I feel being and feeling powerful will support me in my decision making and action taking, being authentic and expressing my soul voice and more importantly as a reminder that 'I've got this'.

Have you set your intention yet? Feel free to share in the comment space or email me.

If you have any questions or comments, please also feel free to hit the reply button. Or if you'd like to find out more about my coaching sessions and/or about arranging an initial call about how coaching may benefit your transformation, please email If you know anyone who might benefit from working with me, do let them know too.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

I wish you the most fantastic and powerful 2018.

Sending so much love and light
